5-port 10/100 Ethernet port switch

The PMC224 is a PMC Ethernet Switch card.

The PMC224 is a 5-port 10/100 PMC 10/100 Ethernet port switch with onboard MAC. Four ports are accessible via the front bezel. The fifth port is connected to the MAC.

PMC224 features:

  • Single PMC card slot
  • National DP83815 onboard MAC
  • Onboard Broadcom BCM5315 5-way switch
  • 4 RJ45 connectors via the front panel
  • Auto MDIX
  • 256K Switch packet buffering
  • DSP based PHY allows greater reliability and distance
  • IEEE 802.3 compliant
  • Drivers include:
    1. Windows 98, Windows NT 4.0, Win2000
    2. Linux
    3. VxWorks
    4. PXE
    5. Open Server 7.X
    6. Unixware 7.X
