What is this card?
This card is an ATX style motherboard made for a specific Computer Telephony application.
What makes this motherboard unique?
This motherboard has latching connectors for the IDE drive cables, floppy cable, and main power input cables. These latching connectors keep the cables from walking off their motherboard connections when the system is in operation.
The power connectors are rated for large input currents on all power rails. The telephony cards that are used in the ISA slots draw large currents that a standard ATX power supply cannot meet. There are 5 IDE drive-style power connectors to allow the user to connect several IDE drives in the system.
The motherboard has two 9-pin DSUB serial ports stacked on top of each other to conserve front panel space. The keyboard and mouse connectors are also stacked. They are the standard PS/2 style.
The video is a standard ISA based VGA controller embedded on the motherboard to save the cost of adding a off-the-shelf card and taking up a much needed ISA slot.
