What is this card?
This card is a HOT-SWAPPABLE single slot computer card designed for a central office switch.
What is unique about this card?
There are several features that make this card unique. The first is that it is HOT-SWAPPABLE. The central office switch can remain running and this card can be inserted or removed. It has two notebook-style onboard IDE drives, which gives the switch several Gigabytes of data storage. There are two 10/100 Ethernet ports onboard for redundancy. Finally thru the connectors, a user can connect a SCSI subsystem to the switch.
