What is this card?
This card is a proprietary motherboard made for general Computer Telephony applications.
What makes this motherboard unique?
This motherboard has latching connectors for the IDE drive cables, floppy cable, and main power input cables. These latching connectors keep the cables from walking off their motherboard connections when the system is in operation.
The power connectors are rated for large input currents on all power rails. The telephony cards that are used in the ISA slots draw large currents that a standard PC power supply cannot meet. There are 6 IDE drive-style power connectors to allow the user to connect several IDE drives in the system.
The motherboard has a latching connector to transport the two serial and one parallel port to a different part of the chassis for connection to the outside world.
The video is a standard ISA based VGA controller embedded on the motherboard to save the cost of adding a off-the-shelf card and taking up a much needed ISA slot.
